Marlo has dedicated her career to the alleviation of poverty through principles that value relationships and promote lasting change. For fifteen years she has served in various leadership capacities in the nonprofit sector, including working with diverse teams to develop and implement strategies and approaches aimed at fostering economic opportunity and leadership potential present among under resourced neighborhoods and groups. Marlo has a BA in Social Work from Anderson University and a Masters of Nonprofit Management Certification in Capacity Building from Regis University. She is passionate about seeing the local church be used by God as an agent of transformation for their communities, driven by a love for God and their neighbor. Marlo helped to facilitate the development of the ACTS resources for local churches through a collaborative process. Marlo currently serves on the Springfield Promise Neighborhood Board of Directors and enjoys connecting with and serving the community through her church. Marlo and her husband of 18 years reside in Southwest Ohio with their two daughters.
